Hossein is a thesis-based MMath student in Cheriton School of Computer Science at the University of Waterloo. He is working under the supervision of Prof. Mei Nagappan and he is a member of SWAG Lab. His research interests include mining software repositories, software defect prediction, empirical software engineering, and diversity in software engineering. Hossein received his Bachelor's degree from Sharif University of Technology in Iran.
